Maxwell C. Hill's 2nd book again challenges conventional views of history. In this work he suggests that Maori may not have come to New Zealand in a "Great Fleet" of canoes but may have arrived aboard Chinese ships which foundered on the coast of New Zealand. "To The Ends Of The Earth - And Back Again", cites the wreckage of a centuries-old Chinese ship found at Ruapuke and the discovery in Northland of what is believed to be an old Chinese village and also handmade bricks with Chinese markings. His new book, together with a revised reprint of Hill's first work, To The Ends Of The Earth, has just been launched. The initial print run was sold out within 2 weeks.
